How to cancel Candy AI subscription in Settings, step by step

1. Sign in at the official site. Use candy.ai and the account you paid with. Candy is a web app with no App Store or Google Play subscription, so you cancel on Candy itself, not in your phone’s subscription settings.
2. Open Settings. Candy’s terms place your plan details under My Profile and Settings.
3. Choose Unsubscribe. This switches off autorenewal. Candy’s terms say you can cancel autorenewal at any time in settings.
4. Check your end date. Candy’s Terms of Service say “All details about your subscription, including start date, end date and type of subscription plan can be found under My Profile / Settings within your account.” That means you can see the exact day Premium ends, instead of counting from your payment date. Premium runs until the period you paid for is over: one month, three months or a year. Spend your remaining tokens before then.
5. Keep your receipt and watch your card. Save the payment confirmation, and glance at your statement around the old renewal date to confirm no new charge appears.

If you can’t find the button, Candy’s Help Center is at everai.zendesk.com and its support email is support@candymail.ai. Candy says support runs 24/7 through Zendesk. Menu labels can change over time, so if “Unsubscribe” has moved, look under My Profile first.

What happens after you cancel Candy AI

• Premium continues until the end of the period you paid for. Cancel in week two of a month and you still have the rest of it.
• Then the account drops to the free version: a maximum of 5 messages to AI characters, no 18+ generation, and Shorts episodes 1 and 2 free.
• Remaining tokens expire at the end of the billing period. They don’t carry over to a new subscription and can’t be exchanged for money.
• Plan changes, whether upgrades or downgrades, take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

One open question: Candy’s Shorts player calls unlocked episodes “Yours forever. No ads, no waiting.” We haven’t tested whether that holds after a subscription ends, so don’t unlock a series on the assumption that it does without checking in your own account.

Can you get a Candy AI refund? The rules and how to ask

Canceling stops the next charge. A refund returns money already taken, and Candy’s terms make that much harder. This is the rule set as of October 2026:

1. Check you qualify first. Outside the EU and UK: within 24 hours of the payment, 20 tokens or fewer used, paid by card. In the EU or UK: within 14 days of the initial purchase.
2. Write to support@candymail.ai (or use the Help Center at everai.zendesk.com) from the email address on your account.
3. Include the essentials. The date and amount of the charge, the plan you bought and, in the EU or UK, that you are using your 14-day right of withdrawal.
4. Switch off renewal as well. A refund request and Unsubscribe are separate steps. Don’t assume one does the other; do both.

Is Candy AI easy to cancel?

On paper, yes. Candy’s terms describe cancellation as something you do yourself in settings, not a request you file with support, and every plan on the subscription page carries a “Cancel any time” label. The one thing that catches people is timing: renewal is automatic, so the cost of forgetting is a full extra period at the same price and term.

That should reassure anyone nervous about trying it. Cancel right after you buy and the downside is capped at the price you paid, with Premium running to the end of that period. The $9.99 first month, for example, can become a one-time $9.99 test rather than the start of $13.99 monthly charges. Tips: cancel before renewal and use your tokens first

• Cancel on day one if you want a single period. Premium stays active, and you can’t be surprised by a renewal.
• Set a calendar reminder a few days before renewal, using the end date shown under My Profile / Settings, because discreet billing means the charge won’t say “Candy AI” on your statement. Monthly renews at $13.99, and yearly renews for another $47.88.
• Spend tokens before the period ends. After you cancel, unused tokens expire at the end of the billing period.
• Decide about refunds in the first 24 hours, while you’ve used 20 tokens or fewer. After that, outside the EU and UK, the window has closed.
