What is the Candy AI image generator?
It is the Generate Image tool in Candy’s main navigation. You describe or set up the picture you want, spend tokens, and the platform produces an AI-generated image. Candy groups it with its companion features (it says companions can chat, send images, send voice messages and appear in videos), so think of it as a way to get pictures of your AI characters rather than a general-purpose art generator.
Candy’s own framing sets the scope. Image generation, it says, means you “can see your companion just the way you imagine them. Outfits, backgrounds, poses — it’s like staging a shoot.” That is a useful mental model: you are the art director of a photo session, and the three levers Candy names are what she wears, where she is and how she is posed. We haven’t verified every option inside the tool beyond that.

Candy’s navigation also lists a Collection (gallery) tab, though we can’t verify exactly how generated pictures are saved there. Why are Candy AI images blurred on a free account?
Blur is one of the ways Candy separates a free account from Premium. On creator chats, the paywall lists “remove image blur” alongside unlimited text, creating AI video and 100 free tokens a month. In other words, on those chats a free account sees images that stay blurred until it subscribes. Generating 18+ images is a Premium perk too, so a free account can’t show you what the generator really does.
If you are testing before paying, plan around that. The free tier tells you whether you like a character’s personality and writing. It does not tell you how the images look unblurred, so don’t judge the generator from a blurred preview.
