Mona’s Worst Enemy review: is it worth unlocking?
Our verdict: The funniest long series in our guides, and a crude, quick bickering comedy that earns its length only if you like the pair after episode 2. Take the free episodes as a real audition: 156 tokens is a bigger commitment than any five-episode story.
Episode 1 runs 79 seconds, twelve over the Candy Shorts average of about 67 and one of the 22 longest of the 127 we measured, and it spends nearly all of that on one joke: two people trading insults while stealing glances. It mostly works. The raccoon excuse is the best gag, and Mona’s indignation gives every exchange its energy. The dialogue is crude, though, and leans on the same staring joke more than once; if name-calling banter grates on you, it will grate for 15 episodes.
Is the full binge worth the tokens? The per-episode price is the same 12 tokens as any standard series, so length alone isn’t a bargain; what you buy is pacing.
