What is My Bestie Betrayed Me about?
Emma’s perfect life lasts until the night she catches her boyfriend, Ryan, with her best friend. That is the opening beat of My Bestie Betrayed Me, and by Candy’s description it is only the start: a secret rebound, a positive test and a web of lies follow, and the heartbreak hardens into what the blurb calls “the war that makes her untouchable.”
This is a revenge-and-reinvention serial rather than a quick tease, and its scale shows it: 34 episodes, the longest run on Candy Shorts and almost seven times the usual five. There is no licensed creator; Candy files the series under its Other characters scope and tags it Taboo. Expect soap-opera escalation, with betrayals, secrets, shifting alliances and a lead who learns to play the same game. Candy’s rules apply throughout: every character is an adult, and the whole thing is AI-generated fiction.

A cold open with no setup. Emma goes looking for Ryan, sure he must be up there, and her stunned reaction says it all when she finds him with her best friend. Ryan calls after her, stammering that it isn’t what it looks like, and the episode’s last word is a flat “Oops.” That’s nearly everything: eight lines of dialogue in 49 seconds, ending on the betrayal itself rather than the aftermath. The backstory, the revenge and the characters’ history are all saved for later episodes.

Episode 2 has to deal with the fallout, and Candy’s description leaps from the breakup to a secret rebound, a positive test and a war. Expect Emma’s shock to harden into a plan quickly, the rebound to bring the story’s first real heat, and each episode to end on a fresh secret or betrayal, the way a soap does.
This is where the money goes: episodes 3 to 34, 32 locked episodes at 12 tokens apiece, 384 tokens in all. Paid for with yearly-plan tokens, that is about $15.32 (October 2026), and it equals more than ten standard series or nearly four months of Premium’s 100-token allowance. In return, Candy promises a long arc from betrayal to rebound to revenge. Across 32 episodes, expect the soap to escalate in waves, with the secrets and the rebound carrying most of the heat. Our advice: unlock in blocks of eight, which one month’s tokens cover, and stop if the story stalls. See My Bestie Betrayed Me on Candy.

My Bestie Betrayed Me review: is it worth unlocking?
Our verdict: A strong soap-opera premise sold by one of the thinnest free episodes on Candy Shorts. We would buy it, but only in stages: pay for the first block on the strength of the description, then keep going only if you still care. At 384 tokens it is the biggest commitment in the catalog.
Episode 1 is 49 seconds of shock: a discovery, a stammered excuse, a flippant exit line. With so little dialogue, there’s almost nothing to judge on writing or chemistry, so episode 2 is your real sample. The decision rests largely on Candy’s description, which is the strongest part of the package: a secret rebound, a positive test and a revenge arc give a 34-part story real engines.
What the opener does prove is instinct. It starts at the worst possible moment and wastes nothing, the right call for a serial this long, and only one of the 127 first episodes we measured is shorter.
Is the full binge worth the tokens? Per episode you pay the same 12 tokens as everywhere else, so you are not overpaying; you are committing to a story you can barely sample. For revenge-soap fans, yes, in blocks, treated like a season of television. If you want proof first, YES MA’AM gives you a better free sample for 216 tokens, and Your Girlfriend’s Younger Sister runs 10 episodes for 96. Our episode guide compares every long series side by side.
Heat level 3/5 (our estimate): Candy tags it Taboo, and the blurb’s secret rebound and positive test promise adult material, but episode 1 is pure shock with no heat. We expect a drama-led soap that turns steamy in bursts, so it suits viewers who want story with their steam.

- Viewers who can budget 384 tokens, or buy in blocks
Skip it if
- You want a cheap, finished story: this costs ten times a standard series
- You need a strong free episode to judge the writing first
