What is Forgive Me, Father about?

Forgive Me, Father is Candy’s small-town church drama: a new priest, a college-age adult parishioner and a vow that starts to bend. Candy’s description frames him as torn between his vows and his attraction, sliding into an illicit affair that could cost him his flock. The title doubles as the confessional line that ends the first episode.

Two characters carry it. The priest, never named in the free episode, is polite and mostly reactive. The parishioner, spelled “Mika” in the English subtitles and linked to Candy’s original character profile Mica Sarasola, is the one pushing. Neither is a real performer, and Candy gives the series no library tags, so it won’t surface under a tag filter other than New. The tone is guilty slow burn: handshakes after Sunday service, a sermon about resisting temptation and a confession that is really an opening move.

Episode 1 opens on a fragment that plays like a flash-forward: she asks him to tell her to stop, he pleads her name, and she points out that isn’t “stop.” Then it rewinds to Sunday service. Parishioners thank the new priest and tell him the church is lucky to have him. Mika praises his sermon, “especially the part about resisting temptation.” The episode ends in the confessional with her line, “Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned,” and an admission: she has been having impure thoughts about her new priest. All setup, plus one clean cliffhanger.

Episode 2

Episode 2 inherits the confessional, with the priest now holding what he just heard and the opening fragment hinting at where it leads. Candy’s description says temptation becomes an illicit affair, so expect the slide to begin here, slowly and guiltily, with the heat building toward the paid episodes. We won’t add specifics.

Three locked episodes at 12 tokens each make 36 tokens, which the yearly plan values at about $1.44 as of October 2026. Per the official description, this is where the affair, and the risk to his flock, plays out. The opening fragment of episode 1, where she asks him to say stop and he only says her name, already shows he won’t hold the line, so expect the vow to give way: a slow burn that finally boils over in the paid episodes, with consequences and secrecy rather than surprise. Continue Forgive Me, Father on Candy after episode 2 has made its case.

Forgive Me, Father review: is it worth unlocking?

Our verdict: The most restrained of the new batch: a well-built, guilt-heavy opener that is almost all setup. Worth 36 tokens if you like slow burns and forbidden vows; impatient viewers will find 59 seconds without heat a hard sell.

The hook is old but effective: a confessional, a vow and a title that is also a line of dialogue. Opening on what looks like a flash-forward before rewinding to Sunday service is a smart move for a one-minute episode, because it tells you where the story is going before the setup begins. At 59 seconds, the shortest opener among the nine new public launches and about eight under the Candy Shorts average (only about one in five of the 127 openers we measured is shorter), there is little room for the priest to speak, and no heat yet.

The best writing is the sermon compliment. “Especially the part about resisting temptation” does more work than the confession because Mika delivers it with a straight face. Chemistry is one-sided so far, she pursues and he deflects, which suits a vow-versus-desire premise but asks for a patience that faster series such as House Rules don’t. A church setting that holds steady across shots bodes well for the AI visuals.

We rank it joint fifth of the nine new public launches: the most restrained of the batch, and the best fit for viewers who want atmosphere before heat. For another story built on a rule you aren’t supposed to break, Sworn to the Queen costs the same 36 tokens and has the sharper script, and our Candy Shorts review covers whether the format is worth a subscription at all.

Heat level 3/5 (our estimate): No Candy tags and a free episode with no physical heat: this is a drama-led affair story. Candy’s description promises an illicit affair, so we expect the paid episodes to turn sensual, but it should burn slower than the tagged Milf and Taboo series.

  • Anyone who enjoys a strong final-line cliffhanger

  • You want fast, high-heat episodes from the first minute
  • Clergy-and-vows storylines are not for you
